The world is evolving as it always have and unfortunately it will be painful for lots of people in different ways. I feel like a lot of this could have been avoided if society as a whole was taught to be more self sufficient in life instead of having the mentality that the corporate career path is the only path. While this would not have changed the emergence of AI, it could have possibly helped many people be more agile and able to adapt to large scale changes in society.
